Open to all families in the local area, we welcome any student who is ready to grow.

We offer traditional tutoring for individual subjects — from foundational middle school coursework all the way up to AP-level coaching — so no matter where your student is, we have the support to meet them there. With flexible options including single sessions, multiple session packages, and semester-long packages, you can choose what works best for your family. Dylan Ochs

Dylan Ochs is a Wheaton Academy graduate and current college student pursuing a career in math education. While still in school, she is gaining hands-on experience through tutoring and classroom involvement. Dylan is passionate about making math approachable and meaningful for all students. She has an interest in helping students build their understanding and confidence.

Frank Della Torre

Frank Della Torre ’12 is eager to help students learn of the joy and peace that is found in knowing the God who has revealed himself to us in Jesus Christ. Frank brings a wealth of educational experience, earning his B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College and his M.A. in Theological Studies from Princeton Seminary. He recently received his Ph.D. in Theology & Ethics at Baylor University. Frank and his wife, Annie (Scholes ’13), thoroughly enjoy their busy life with their young sons.

Heather Wilkinson

Heather Wilkinson is a Wheaton Academy French teacher who spent 3+ years in Paris, France, as a missionary with International Teams (now One Collective). Given her Bible background and many years leading Bible studies, she is passionate about coming alongside students who are studying Bible, helping them to apply the truth of God's Word. She loves teaching French and enjoys working one-on-one to help struggling students learn how to learn and gain confidence in their God-given abilities.

Liz Reid

Liz is a graduate of St. Mary’s University. She has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th grades for the last 25 years. More recently, her teaching experience has been with a local homeschool co-op and is currently teaching preschool in Wheaton. Liz creates a fun, positive learning experience to help meet personal goals and has enjoyed tutoring for the last 25 years.

Maddie Urban

Maddie Urban is a former Wheaton Academy English teacher. During her five years at Wheaton Academy, Maddie taught all levels of English and loves working with students on their reading and writing. As a former AP Seminar teacher, she particularly enjoys working with upper-level students on research-style writing. Maddie is passionate about supporting each student’s growth as a reader, writer, and thinker.

Sam Anliker

Sam Anliker is a Wheaton Academy alumnus specializing in chemistry and math. Sam has worked with high school and collegiate students in both math and science starting in 2024. As a recent graduate from a research track, he is enthusiastic about creatively approaching complex problems and loves helping students find their own problem-solving methods, equipping them not just to succeed in a class but also to become lifelong learners.

Sean McCallum

Sean has been at WA since 2011. He transitioned to traditional education from many experiences in the creative world. Most recently, he has worked as an independent consultant and has held a variety of design roles. He brings a love for painting and drawing, and desires that art tells a story.

Shea Schultz

Shea Schultz is a Wheaton College graduate student eager to begin her career in education. She is passionate about connecting with students and inviting them into a thoughtful exploration of the world through history, reading, and writing. Her academic interests center on examining the historical and contemporary influences that shape human thinking, with the aim of fostering patience, empathy, and a deeper understanding of others. Shea loves asking big questions and helping students develop a global awareness that broadens their perspective and draws their attention beyond themselves.

Stacey Krohn

Stacey currently teaches Spanish at Wheaton Academy, and she has experience working with international students and all ability levels in Spanish and/or English. She was a classroom teacher for 13 years, 8 of those years in International Schools in Peru and Ethiopia. She is currently teaching Spanish at Wheaton Academy.

Stephen Zawicki

Stephen Zawicki is a Wheaton Academy science teacher who has been teaching for 7 years. He has taught various science courses including AP Physics. He enjoys helping students discover the glorious and surprising ways that God has designed the universe to function.

Terry Huttenlock

Terry has taught in her areas of expertise at the college and adult levels for over 25 years. Her areas of expertise include academic research, reading and writing, research methods, instructional technology, ESL, and supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, low-vision, and blindness by helping them develop study skills and utilize assistive technology. Terry is passionate about supporting students to be successful in their academic pursuits.
