For Parents: Supporting Executive Functioning in Highschool

Join us for a FREE, 60-minute parent workshop led by Certified Executive Functioning Coach Holly Taritas. We’ll explore how executive functioning impacts student success and provide practical strategies for support. The session will cover core skills like organization and time management, how stress affects learning, and how parents can foster growth. Open to all WA families.

Build Habits for High School Success

This summer, equip your student with the skills they need to thrive in high school! In this workshop, students will meet with Certified Executive Functioning Coach Holly Taritas to build essential habits in time management, organization, study strategies, and stress reduction. Designed specifically for incoming freshmen and underclassmen, this engaging course will give students the confidence and structure to start the school year strong.
All materials are included. Space is limited!

Preparing for Finals
Preparing for Finals Class

Sign up to jumpstart your student’s preparation for the final exam season! In this group session, Holly Taritas, a certified executive functioning skills coach, will lead students through a self-assessment of executive functioning skills and the creation of a personalized study schedule. Finals season is a stressful time, and your student will leave this session not only with a written study plan but with increased confidence to finish strong. Course Registration is $100 per student.

Aim for a 36: Already taken one of our SAT or ACT Group courses? We are offering a special $360 deal to anyone who has participated in one of our group college testing classes. Enroll in the other college prep class to receive a nearly 50% discount on the class fee! Compare the tests, play to your strengths, and submit your best possible score to colleges. College Essay Writing
College Essay writing workshops for seniors
College Essay Writing Workshop Now One 4-hour session!
Choose October 13 or October 15

Application deadlines are approaching—Give your student the support they need to create an authentic, standout essay and feel confident submitting it! The Center for Lifelong Learning invites Class of 2026 seniors to an engaging, interactive 4-hour workshop designed to guide them through the college essay writing process. Using proven strategies, students will brainstorm ideas, write their compelling story, and refine it using guided exercises, peer feedback, and expert support. Optional one-on-one coaching is also available afterward to give the essay a final polish. Led by Dr. Terry Huttenlock
