I joined Wheaton Academy Institute in 2022 after twenty-seven years in education. I’m excited to be on a team with others to advance lifelong learning and support the mission of Christian education with Best Practices. I believe the purpose of Christian education is to be transformational for His Glory. I have a deep love for cultivating and developing students and teachers who thrive in their giftedness.  Always learning, growing, and improving is my encouragement to the next generation of students, teachers, and those who lead in Christian education.   My teaching experience includes pre-k through college, and I am currently a member of the Adjunct Faculty for the College of Education at Grand Canyon University. My focus and passion continue to be on teaching pre-service teachers (student teachers). I have served on two Christian school boards where my children attended. Before becoming a homemaker with my first child, I was the head of both the Art Department and the Career and Technical Education Department at Wheaton North High School. I have also served as a substitute teacher at Wheaton Academy and Wheaton Christian Grammar School since 2015.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and a Master of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University, plus sixty graduate hours in Curriculum and Supervision. I am so excited to be back at the high school level with my son (Noah) and daughter (Hope)!
